The Southern Continent Callor is the largest single plate on Herald-Kridxen. The reigon is very sparsely peckmarked with small townships of people that brave this cold continent. The only large cities are on the coastline in the North. The furthest peninsula of landmass holds a large forest only known to men as the Greater Forest. This is the land of elves where humans stray due to both respect and fear. Although men do not tread into this forest they do colonize near there because of the Carthanan river that creates the arteries of the Greater Forest. This is where tiny Arroway and large Carthanan reside. The Highway that leads from Carthanan to Beighorn is a human triumph. It is a straight line through all barriers and took easily a lifetime to perfect. The highway ends at Beighorn and there have been rumors that there is a tunnel leading throughto Etamakanak. Etamakanak the highway takes form again and takes you to Tre-ves. A 90 egree turn brings the highway to a complete end right before the Ice plate in a town called makoolnakal.
North of Tre-ves are two minor cities called Icseraka and Orquesias.
Amazingly enough, if you go a few hundred miles west from Carthanan you find the Marred Desert, a hot barren wasteland where none call home. As the desert ends you immedieately enter the is a small dyeing township called Thebus. Another Desert is North of there called the Kahtarek desert. A costal city lies on a thin layer of grass before the earth gives way back to sand in the form of a beach to the Azure Ocean

Arroway is nestled on a tributary of the Carthanan river that flows northward. It's a tiny village with guard towers under construction, a town square, a bar, an inn, and places for at a maximum of 25 merchants to sell their goods. A few miles out is the fisherman docks that provides the samon that Carthanan is famous for. Arroway was originally founded by a few fishermen that didn't want to take the long 7 mile journey from Carthanan to the docks so they made a halfway point wich was more like a 3/4 point severing the journey down to a mere 1.5 mile journey. The line that bends towards Arroway is really unnatural but by the skilled hands of Elven rangers so that the split would be very natural thing, thus ensureing that the makeshift cannal would easily outlive them. In exchange for their help the rangers wanted the town to be labled after their craft, arrowmaking. So the title was settled on part of it's original intent (halfway mark) and what the Elves wanted (arrowcraft) hence Arroway. Another request of the elves was that the population would take up a policy of one child for each parent to ensure that the population wouldn't explode like Carthanan's did.

Carthanan is the fourth largest city on Callor (Excludeing Horenth). It holds a population of over 1,500 people in it's barrier. It is one of the few destinations that the world wide transport can outlet. It is quite dangerous to exit the city line to go further into the forest. Elves hate the fact that humans were so bold as to begin building inside their forest without their knowledge. There were a few minor skirmishes between the two peoples but they ended quickly with a loose contract to not expand any further into the forest. Carthanan's major export is Samon... Shannon Samon from Carthanan, once you've heard it you'll never get it out of your head.
