At this time, a time traveling dragon by the name
Ultimate Sea Dragon 3000 was sight seeing the situation that would
change
the world forever, this battle would determine it, but instead of
getting
angry, Cirra simply cried pathetically from her crumpled form.
Something
stirred inside of him, being alone for over 500 dragon years, he had
lost
all prior knowledge of his emotions. So when the first emotion
that
he had had in such a long time washed over him... it felt like his life
purpose was to protect this young, hurt girl. He opened his mind
to hers as she screamed in her mind "I hate them!! I want them to
die so I won't hurt anymore!!" His mind told her, "I can make
them
go away if you teach me how to feel again."
Her mind screamed back, "YES! just make them go
away!!!"
That was all he needed...
He merged his mind with her personality, and
invoked
his wrath on the thing that was making her hurt most at the time.
It happened that she was looking at a small chubby boy that had been
pointing
and laughing with delight to see his first person die. Cirra
could
only watch as she suddenly stood proud and dashed the head of the
un-armed
child and give a killing gaze at the young girl next to him.
Outraged,
the town swarmed all over her.... such pain! Her skin had been
changed
over to the hide of the dragon that possessed her. Nothing was
piercing
it but she could feel each blow fall upon her. Ultimate Sea
Dragon
3000 (U3) knew that he couldn't complete the operation that he executed
until nightfall. U3 was still in control as she ran from the town
and climbed a nearby tree. The most boring afternoon awaited her
in that tree. U3 had Cirra stand completely still as the sun
set.
She noticed that her eyes could see more, light was more clearer than
she
could have ever thought possible. She barley knew when the sun set, but
U3 knew when it happened. U3 calmly let Cirra's balance fail her
and they fell on there back, amazingly U3 used the bounce from hitting
the ground to get to their feet. Silently, he had Cirra go back
to
the town. Cirra's mind screamed at U3 to stop but he ignored
her.
She could only watch as U3 systematically killed each and every child
that
was left in the town in his or her sleep. After that he went to
an
old friend of Cirra's house.
Her mind asked a little scared, "What are you going
to do here? She has no children."
U3's mind answered with a thousand versions of the
same sentence, "In seven months... she will"
Cirra found this completely un-acceptable even
though
her will was spent on the day's travel and seeing all the horror that
her
body had just caused. Somewhere deep inside her a fire sparked at
that moment, a deep burning that wouldn't be quenched, a desire for
complete
balance of forces, justice for the weak and mercy for all who followed
the laws.
Cirra gave a tonsil ripping scream,
"NOOOOO!!!!!!
STOP IT NOW!!!"
U3 was about as shocked as the townsfolk.
He humbly let Cirra have the use of her body back and allowed her to do
as she saw fit. A hesitation of doubt that he was actually
listening
to her floated through her mind was all the time she had before she
began
to hear the wailes of parents as they awoke to their dead child or
children.
Thebus cried that night, oh how it keened and wailed at the death that
had happend moments earlier. Like a delayed reaction to the shock
of the wound that U3 had caused. The crowd of people quickly
overpowered
her and held her once again ready to string her up.
Her own father's voice came in a commanding tone,
"Hasn't my town suffered enough!? We have empty guard towers now
due to my own daughter's lack of respect and now a plauge upon the
children
by.... You whatever deamon you are. Yet deamon might not
be
a fitting title, what deamon would have enough hatred inside of their
heart
to kill EACH and EVERY child in our village! What have we done
that
would have you hate us so much?"
Cirra made a hurt and innocent face that felt a
little different than usual, "It- It wasn't my fault! I- I-"
Her father continued, "How can you say that! Your
own weapon has the blood of our children on it!" He held out the
town's holy symbol, a silver sun, "Leave this place oh wreched demon or
suffer the wrath of the Sisterhood of the Sun!"
Confused, Cirra answered, "daddy? Don't you
recognize me?"
Kresh only got more angry, "You dare call me
father!?
The idea that I helped conceive you!! Leave my sight! I
never
want to see you again nameless demon!"
He brought the familiar symbol to her face, and
she saw what she had become. Her entire face was green with
scales,
except where there was red spots from the bloodletting. Green slit eyes
peered out from sunken eye sockets. When she opened her mouth in
terror it revealed pointed teeth and a forked tongue. She reeled
from the shock and surprise, she reached up to put her, now clawed,
hands
to the sides of her head to stabilize herself, but that had changed
too.
Her silky golden radiance had become knotted and thick... too
thick...
White, silky, dreadlocks had replaced her sun yellow hair.
After a beating she wouldn't ever forget, Cirra
was taken to the outside of town 20 ft and dropped into a small puddle.
After a few minuets after the townspeople left, she dragged her broken
body out of the puddle, turned around and looked at her reflection in
the
murky depths. Seeing herself again she gave a depressed sigh.
"What's happened to me?" Cirra asked no one in
particular.
To her surprise U3 answered, "I have made you immune
to disease, and penetration in all forms you do not wish. And I
got
rid of those who harmed you. Is that not what I proposed?"
Cirra got confused, "What do you mean, you have
made me immune to disease, and penetration in all forms?"
"Just feel where... you would have openings."
Cirra answered incredulously answered, "well that
was smart! Now how am I supposed to go to the bathroom?!"
U3 answered, "what is... bathroom?"
Cirra got the feeling that she had gotten herself
into something that she really didn't want to be in, "Bathroom...
urinate?"
U3 answered, "oh.... that.... well I'll work
something
out hold on."
Cirra felt the inside of her stomach change and
gurgle, the feeling grew from her stomach to the entire area of her new
skin.
Confused, Cirra asked, "what was that?!"
"I re-routed and made your stomach more efficient..
it now takes 13 days for you to digest something, makes sure you get
all
the... use out of your food. If you want to... go then you'll
have
to sweat it out of the scales."
Outraged she sternly said, "Stop that!"
U3 replied, "What? What did I do?"
"You... you changed me again!"
U3 pondered for a bit and then said, "So? Is that
not what you wanted?"
Cirra thought for a bit, "Well... as long as you
are changing things... mind giving me my old skin back?" She
leaned
over the murky puddle, "I wasn't quite done with it."
U3 paused, "I can tryyyyy."
Cirra watched as his skin pulled away from her face
and replaced it with her old skin with a few different features, he
made
her lips red, her teeth normal and white, and gave her dark lavender
eyelids.
Her now green eyes, however, stayed, but the sharp and noticeable
vertical
pupil was honed down to a oblong circle.
She felt her changed face and noticed that her claws
had been replaced by her hands, her feet and thighs had returned
too.
U3 had used the excess skin to make a modest (by today's standards)
skirt,
just above her knees. It was a new and odd sensation... a feeling
of skin on skin on her thighs and feeling both sides at the same
time.
He had made a modest scale skirt out of his skin on her legs, it went
down
to her knees. Her shoulders had the same feeling of skin on skin,
she had scaled sleeves that touched halfway down the biceps part of her
arm.
U3 asked, "How's that?"
She looked herself over, "I still look hideous....
at lest my face is human..." She shook her head, "You are
evil....
whoever you are."
"You may address me as U3... and I am not evil I
am just doing what you want to do, I am acting as your Id.... uh...
instinct"
Cirra used her hands to emphasize what she said,
"Nevertheless, you killed all those children! Children, U3...
Children!"
U3 considered her words and then mocked, "Adults,
Cirra, Adults! what's the difference?"
Cirra said incredulously, "There is a world of
difference
between adults and children! Children's lives haven't yet
happened.
They have the potential for such greatness! An adult has been
spent,
is set in stone a Child is still clay and can be formed to anything it
wants to be."
Cirra could almost see the smirk on U3's face as
he replied, "even clay has it's limits... thinking of which... I've
already
lied to you."
"What?" Cirra said still in a state of shock.
"You are susceptible to penetration... only once...
by.. a male"
Cirra almost yelled in complaint about decency but
U3 continued too quickly, "but then I will not allow any more in, is
this
understood?"
Cirra nodded and then huffed, "In any event, you
got us banished, now what?"
"Go to Arroway... across the great desert" U3 paused
after that to let what he said sink in and replied before she could
complain,
"just drink as much water as you can, you will survive trust me."
With that he fell silent...
"U3?..." no response... "U3?"
Needless to say Cirra eventually followed U3's
instructions,
news of banishment spreads quickly throughout the land especially when
children are involved. To even her own surprise she made it
through
the desert without much trouble... much like a walk through a great
grass
meadow... a hot grass meadow.
After she reached the other side Arroway wasn't
too hard to find. News of her massacre mustn't have reached here
yet. The traveling merchants, and the like were friendly and
open.
She dared not to reveal her name for fear of someone recognizing the
name,
she went by the alaby Charlotte.
Charlotte was an excellent singer and began to make
a name for herself at the town tavern. On the side she worked as
a seamstress and made uniforms for the town guard, and various other
odd
jobs. She learned how to dance in informal occasions by working
the
tavern. She learned how to sing there too. Being on her own
she found that she must learn basic things that most adventurers
know.
She also knew that she needed to learn how to make clothes that conceal
her armor well, and fast!
After three years of making money and getting to
know the towns people, she had just begun to forget the horrible
incident
in Thebus. Then, one faithful night...
A man who simply called himself, 'the boss'
encountered
Charlotte after one of her performances with his mutt of a right hand
man,
(half dwarf half halfing). She had gotten undressed and was ready
to call it a night
He approached her and asked, "Ay! Whore! Tha's a
nice costume you got there! yah look just like the Thebus murderer!"
Charlotte was simply scared out of her vocabulary,
had he really found her out?
"yeah, I can see you killing al' those kids just
to be with me heh heh heh." boss continued
Charlotte got some wit about her then, "Bartholomew,
I've told you, I don't like your advances"
{comic starts}
"Well, " boss pulled out his famous poison injecting
sword, "look-e what I have 'ere, th'is aut to change the way yah see my
advances on you."
Hands held out she fell back on desperation, "you
don't understand, this won't work unless I want it"
Continuing his threatening advance, "Oh! I see!
you think that I am not good enough for you is that it!? well! look
around,
Charlotte there ain't anyone else that would accept your-"
He was stopped by a scream coming from his trusted
henchman, "BOSS!!"
Boss stopped and grumbled as he turned around to
see his colleague's silhouette, it just stood there still. Then
the
head fell off balance and the body tumbled to the ground.
A dark voice emanated from the alleyway itself,
"you should be more cautious if you choose to disregard temple
warnings."
The statement struck a cord of panic in boss, he
pointed at Charlotte, "Stay back! I'll kill her! I mean it!"
The shadow's responded, "kill who?"
Boss looked to Charlotte, "Why sweet Cirra here
of... course..."
Boss' voice trailed off because he saw two eyes
peer out of Cirra's shadow. It leapt and a man protruded from it
with a scythe. With one great arc he sliced Boss in half, but not
before boss made a stab with his poison injecting short sword.
From
where she was she could only make out a grey robe, red markings and a
hood
with a scythe.
Cirra was about to ask if he had come to take her
to the next life when he asked, "Are you all right... Serra? is it?
She got up and came over to him, he was still
holding
his shoulder where the pierce was, "I am fine... and my name is Cirra
with
a C." a thought crept into her mind, of being exposed, and vulnerable
in
her situation, "You... aren't just going to take his place on top of me
are you?"
The man pulled back his robe to reveal a serious
face with dark lavender whites and fiery orange irises, "If I wanted to
see you raped... I wouldn't have intervened."
Still a little worried, "then.... what do you want?"
The man sounded calm and without feeling as he told
his tale, "I am a cleric of shadow. My god came to me and said
to go to the town of Thebus to find the woman named Serra. When I
got there and asked for her, I was dragged twenty feet out of town and
dumped into a puddle of mud. I waited until nightfall and jumped
from shadow to shadow going from town to town in the area, I just
happened
to be in this town. You were in the situation that was told to me
by my god that you would be in. I can only assume that he wanted me to
be your guardian shadow..."
Absorbing the words she asked, "What does a guardian
shadow do?"
He seemed a little stumped by the question, "I
guess...
that it's like a close friend... you must teach me everything that
there
is about being Ser- Cirra."
Noticing his stab wound finally she abruptly stopped
him in mid sentence, "gods!"
Seeming surprised he said, "What?"
"You've been stabbed!"
Smiling at his own joke he said, "It's not half
as bad as what he got"
Cirra replied seriously, "His sword injects poison
into it's victims!"
He tried to make a smile, "Oh, well that explains
why I can no longer feel my left arm... be a dear... get some night
root
and mix it with some-"
"Yes, I know sun dew. I'm not stupid, "Cirra
interrupted, "I also know that sun dew won't be available until morning
and then it will be too late, here let me at your arm."
Cirra leaned over and began to suck the blood that
was oozing out his arm.
Surprised he reacted, "oh, so you're a vampire?"
Cirra broke to spit the blood out on the dirt, "No"
She put her lips to the wound again.
Confused he tried again, "Then you believe that
kissing it will make it better?"
Cirra withdrew again and spat out more blood, "no...
I believe that 'kissing' it" Cirra repeated the sucking," will take the
poison... -ptth- enough for me to... -ptth- take you to my house...
-ptth-
to properly dress that wound... -ptth-"
The man must've passed out after that because he
made no movements, worried Cirra increased her efforts. After an
hour of cleansing, she picked up the man and brought him to her
house.
She boiled some rags and undressed him... finding that he had nothing
on
under his robe she covered him up with a blanket. It was late in
the night before she got to go to sleep, working on his ruined robe.
The next day was little more than working on the
man's robe, changing his bandages, getting water for him, and wondering
where he came from and what his name was. She fell asleep again
in
her chair the second night.
That night she was spoken to by U3 playing a little
mind game with her, she was stuck in a giant hedge maze that she was
lowered
into, numbers appeared just above her head... counting down.
After
her time was halfway up she realized that she could bring her sword
into
existence... with this she could now make ways for her to move more
freely,
she finally got to one side of the maze but three quarters of her time
was up! Anxiety forced her to think in panicked ways... maybe...
yes! I could fly to the other side and ask U3 what his name is.
To
her surprise she actually could. But it was so far away... not
much
time left. She concentrated all she could to get to U3 faster and
faster. She finally got to him. Cirra felt U3 touch her
face
with his hand. She hissed back at him and was about to backhand the
dragon
when she realized what he was saying, "Wait!!! don't! I will never do
it
again"
Cirra blinked and shook her head, her eyes focussed
on what was U3's face for a moment and realized that it was no longer
him.
It was.... Torem. She hugged him and said, "oh, Torem... never,
ever,
do that again."
He quickly replied, "Yes, All right never touch
you again."
She winced at him, "No, that's not what I meant...
don't wake me from my dreams again."
{comic ends}
Torem was near death still and she helped him back
to bed. She felt that this man really needed her help so she took
up the vacant job as overseer of the law of Arroway. When Torem
got
better he came to the realization that he still had all his prayers but
none of them actually stated his god's name. He had forgotten
everything
about his past up untill the morning when he got out of bed to see
Cirra
in her rocker and almost got his head bashed in for it.
Cirra came to really enjoy her job as Overseer of
the law, she commanded respect in the population through her mask of
emotionless
law enforcement. After a few weeks as overseer she dropped her
guise
of Charloette completely, returning her name and identity to
Cirra.
Amazingly enough nobody had known her connection to her previous
self.
The destruction of a mere crystal is quickly forgotten when the death
of
an entire town's future shortly follows it.
The sisterhood eventually caught wind of Arroway's
new marshall and looked up the name in their records to see if she
might
want some help from the sisterhood. They were unpleasently
surprised
when the heard that it was Cirra. They had just the person to go
after this new Overseer.
After her arm was ruined, Thorna trained with one
purpose, to destroy the woman who killed her sister at the temple so
long
ago. She had to re-learn how to use a sword and shield.
After
years of training, begging, and playing catch-up her teacher finally
allowed
her to go out and either re-convert their fallen sister, or silence her
in any way that she could.
After her first battle with the restored paladin
Cirra was in great pain and a world of hurt. She saw the red haze
of death fall before her eyes, and through it she saw the goddess Alpha
a few meters away. Torem had come to her aid by occupying
Thorna.
Alpha looked straight at her and seemed to pulse when she talked.
Her mystical voice echoed as she spoke, "Cirra of
Thebus, "Alpha pointed at the fallen warrior, "Hear me, I am the
goddess
of balance, Alpha. I have chosen you to proclaim my name and my
purpose.
You know well the names of my lower dieties who have proclaimed
themselves
the Elemental Sisters... but they all answer to me. Take this to
Madison, the King of Beighorn and tell him that it is time to reveal
the
creator of this plane..." Alpha reached into her robes and produced a
small
light and put her hand over Cirra's heart, "I Alpha, request this of
you,
Champoin of Balance." She paused to see the battle going on to
her
left and showed no emotion, "Listen to him, his heart is good and
pure.
The man you call Torem he is a rare breed. A powerfull priest
without
a god to guide him." Alpha looked back to her dying child "I shall
teach
you how to bring forth a great power, a power that will invoke justice
to the current situation, it is a dangerous power, unpredictable...
only
use it when you are sure you are on the side of justie or it will
consume
you and destroy you... I am here now so this will not happen, fear not
child of Alpha, give me your hands."
Cirra's weak hands reached up and as she touched
the planecrafter Goddess. Then she felt it... the flame burning
inside
of her.... not a hot flame... not a cold flame... something.. strong,
righteous,
neutral...
Alpha squeezed Cirra's right hand, "Concentrate,
on your right hand, it is the side of light, do not hate it, embrace
it...
concentrate.... focus..."
To Cirra's surprise her right hand tingled and a
small white flame that made her hand go relaxed, it spread throughout
her
whole right half of her body and begin to creep to her left.
"Now, my child, let the darkness inside you flow
through your left hand."
Cirra didn't want to but she let the burning hatred
creep to her left side. It quickly and greedily ran to that side,
and an angry painful flame burst from the left hand.
"Now, if you are in balance, bring them together."
Cirra felt lighter as she ever so slowly brought
the two flames close, with each inch it burned inside her, pain on the
left, pleasure on the right. Confused she continued to focus on
the
goal of bringing them together. As her arms became perpendicular
with her shoulders, she began to levitate and feel strength begin to
surge
through her body as things became more clear. It was easier and
more
conceivable to touch her hands together, the black flame began to suck
in the light itself, shards of it at a time, the white one burst into
waves
of light surging and surging. She finally was able to touch the
hands
together and she burst into grey flames, the flames began to knit and
heal
the wounds that she had taken. The feeling was incredible, like
she
was the small part of a river 10 ft wide and she was the dam that was
only
3 ft wide. She felt like she could do anything with this new
found
power.
She opened her eyes just in time to see Torem get
a piercing blow to his shoulder, reminding her of that faithful night
only
the wrong shoulder.
Cirra's voice was calm and purposeful as she held
out her sword, "You are out of balance, you must be punished... I am
the
darkness to your light, I am your anti, you're counterweight... As
Alpha's
follower I shall bring balance to your rightiousness."
Thorna's only response was to display her holy
symbol,
the silver sun, and yell in response, "And I shall smite thee in the
name
of Corona, her light shall spill upon the taint that you have
manifested
in her child."
With that their swords clashed and sparks flew in
the minds of both combatants felt their gods' power surge between
themselves.
Cirra's mind was blasted from the strength of the sun magnified. Thorna
was blasted as well but with the force of pure evil, or at least she
thought
it was, she only thought this because of the purity of the balance that
Cirra had, thus the rivalry between the two came about.
After the confrontation with Thorna Cirra laid very
low in the town of Arroway. She wanted nothing but to live the
rest of her days out in peace with Torem as her good friend. That
is not what the fates had planed for her unfortunately. Cirra was
voted reluctantly into the role of Town Marshall and made a meager
living defending the peace and upholding the good in Arroway. She
soon after found herself in love with a Psion from an alternate plane
by the name of Draconia. The love betwixt them was forever
strained by conflicts with her alterego Euetri. The dragon wanted
nothing more than to ease Cirra into his needs but was constantly
thwarted by the psion. Things were strained even more when an old
friend of Cirra's, Cashmere Alpaca was sent after her by the Sisterhood
of the sun to try and turn her back to the ways of light and
glory. Cashmere was ruined by the man and was turned into his
child and he Cashmere's sire.
There was no rest for Cirra's torment from being the
marshall of Arroway. The people of Arroway were found victim to a
few skirmishes with bandits and threatening notes of a man named
Seeovson and an army coming towards the village. No black clouds
from campfires at night, no evidence to back up the threats so no
precautions were made. It was only through Cashmere's begging
that Cirra take some serious look into the matter. Aparently her
father had made more offpsring this one calling himself Seeovson.
Little to no information was divulged on a trip to Beighorn's
library. During the trip Cirra was desperate for any kind of love
from a male. Real love not just bed buddies. She just
happened to be on the quest to Beighorn Library with her long time good
friend Torem. They created a child together, something she was
only allowed to do once... at least to her knowledge. Torem knew
that what they had done was terrible and that they needed to hide this
from the psion that held Cirra's heart. They held an appeal to
the gods and were granted that Torem was allowed to take on this
responsibility later on in his life. The elder version of Torem
came and took Sashah to a tiny, out of the way city near the Ice sheet
called ArTech. Sashah is the Great grandmother of Callisto of
Cirra. On Cirra's band's return home to Arroway they were
attacked by assasins whom were thwarted but allowed to live on the
condition they give information on the army. The bargain was made
and Cirra found out that they were indeed in for the fight of their
lives. A leigon of Drow and Demon were headed to Arroway through
the network of the underdark led by a triune of power between the man
called Seeovson, Licy Doeslayer and an infernal man called Dason
Telcar. The town of Arroway simply ceased to exist after the army
marched through with little to no resistance by the townsmen. The
psion did everything in his power to help the town but it was not
enough. Cirra, the new Mayor of Arroway by the fact that all
other oficials were murdered along with many many good friends, was
sentenced to rebuild the town, by herself, into restoration
quality.
Things turned even more sour when Cirra found out that
he and Cashmere were having a relationship on the side of him and
her's. She confronted Cashmere of this and scared her off.
Cirra heard little to nill of her ever again. A nameless assassin
killed Cirra
in her sleep a few months after the town of Arroway was re-built.
Torem buried her, and declared her hut a historical
monument he also proposed to Arroway's mayor that he re-name the small
village to Cirra, because of all the deeds that she had done to the
people
that had accepted her. What wasn't revealed to the people of
Arroway
is that Cirra didn't die, she went into a type of hibernation to
develop into something greater without the side efects of immense
pain.
Cirra's life after her feighned death may be
coming to an end soon. She currently resides with her one and
only Kitiara Goldstar. she has spent the past 10 years
underground though the time spent to her seems more in the two to three
year period. She has emerged stronger, faster and more
charismatic than ever before. A new form ihas been awakened
inside of her Form 310 Cirra's fury. A heavenly being that calls
upon the celestial Engel to aide her in abolishing foul creatures that
would taint Kridxen with their closed mindes to the way things are
there. Alpha has selected her Avatar to speak her words directly
to the people. Those who call themselves Knight should tread
carefully. Thy days are numbered on Kridxen.
With this new fury she has bore a child into the
world by the name of Eden that she protects with a furious might.
Her and her love Kitiara Goldstar will defend this youth and ensure
that it takes it's place as a rightious voice in the family leaders of
dragon on Kridxen. May the Eden family rule long and well in
Callor.
