Durring
the holy war of Tarhil and Cyndahl there was a master general by the
name of Bayienth Etzentshar. This was a general like no
other. Human life was sub-standard when compared to the might of
raw nature. He would change grasslands to blood swamps in his
wake of mass murder in the name of Tarhil. This warlord was in
command of Oritoshi, Callor and Kathu. He called up on Tarhil to
grant him a weapon that would allow him to conquer his final task, the
land of Triscape and it's sacred Province of Alpha. Tarhil
granted him such an object: a sword that reflected his own dark
personality and thirst for blood and greed for power. His quest
quickly conqured the western civilizations of Triscape but on the brink
of his advancement towards the eastern part of the continent he quickly
fell dead at the hands of a trusted slave he conqured in
Oritoshi. The slave that had slain his master with his own sword
became tainted that day. The sword, self called Shar-peak
posessed the slave and tore apart his mind beyond any recovery.
Bayienth's death rippled through the ranks of his men and the army lead
through him alone became devided for a few months. Coupled with a
massive upriseing in the army enforced slave cast of Oritoshi and the
quickly awakened armies of Blaze, the mother and child continents
of Oritoshi and Kathu liberated the continents of Callor and Triscape
from Tarhil's champion. Bayienth's armies quickly retreated back
to their home continent of Oritoshi where the followers of Cyndahl
dealt with the last remaining armies. They would not go quietly
though. Through the "unsurping of power" Bayienth's sword
survived. Shar-peak thirsted for vengance against Cyndahl's gate
and sent the remaining armies left through the land of Oritoshi on a
forced march to the heart of Hame-Gate. All hope seemed lost, the
arms of Alpha had drooped under the stress that the 'Legacy of
Bayienth' Army put on her beloved Cyndahl's Church. Cracks ran
everywhere through the newly formed stone and the basements were
vandalized beyond recovery. At the mouth of the gate itself the
goddess awoke outside of her season sending further strain on the
church, and it quickly became too much for the place. The walls
tumbled down around the two. Years passed rebuilding the
cathedral of Cyndahl and much painstaking excavation was done around
the place. The Black sword Shar-peak was never recovered from the
ruins. The gate still stands today. Whispers of Shar-peak
returning have sent shrills down the spines of the priests of Tarhil...
Especially since the rumors have been coming from the nearby islands of
Yaloolnak.
