You are not alone; we can help you to empower yourself and find the peace of mind required for you and your unborn child! I am a Licensed Practical Nurse, a Professional Labor Assistant, and a undergraduate college student for my nursing degree. You can have a positive birth experience.
I know that money can be a problem that is why I have a sliding fee payment scale. I can refer you to a local organization, for Free Childbirth Preparation Classes. The cost is minimal $25.00; and it is refunded if you attend all the classes in there consecutive order.
I can refer you to this local agency to make this happen or I can provide individual classes based upon your desires for a positive childbirth experience, unfortunately my fee of 50.00 is not refundable since I would have the expense of transportation and materials!
As a provider of Childbirth Education Classes, as a Labor Assistant, and as a Nurse, I have references available upon request! I am an advocate for the experience of childbirth is a client centered {client is informed and has options}, it is a natural life event! It is not usually an medical emergency or crisis!
Don’t assume however that when needed I don’t advocate the use of medical intervention’s, I Do! Medicine doe’s have a domain in the Birthing environment! But it is the exception and not the norm!
I don’t believe that routine procedures need to be utilized because they are the standard.! Not every women needs an episiotomy, nor placed in the lithotomy position {birthing position of flat on her back in high stirrups}, or a c-section!
