Fairfax County FD + PD have websites. Also see www.fire-ems.net for other FD websites in the County. The County FD is supported by several Vol VFDs - it is a merged system. Some fire stations and rigs are probably owned by the vols - some vols ride the rigs as EMTs or extra firefighters. Most of the FD staff are fulltime paid people.
