City of Worcester Trunked Radio System

IIRC, Worcester had the 3rd or 4th TRS in MA. First was ?State Police Boston - then ?Massport - then ?Cambridge - then Worcester. The other TRS are all Motorola - Worcester TRS is Ericcson.

All alarms are dispatched on F-5 and initially operate on F-1. Single company responses (including First Responder runs) stay on F-1. Box alarms and multi-company responses either go to F-2 (north end) or F-3 (south end), or F-4 if both F-2 & F-3 are in use.
Q - what is F9 + 10 + 13? - is there a airport channel? - are F15 and F16 patched to 33.70 and 33.62?
I'm not sure about your channel numbers, but each radio has the E-911 talkgroup (included in all city radios) and two event channels (Event A and Event B) which can be accessed my multiple city agencies. The mutual aid channel can be patched to 33.62/33.70 if requested. The simplex/talkaround channel (859.4875) is programmed in all FD radios (F-16, I think).
Q - is there a airport channel?
The airport has its own talkgroups on the EDACS system, but there is not a separate airport channel in the FD radios.
Q - What is the deal with having a seperate talkgroup for each fire station?
Those are for activating the alerting devices and lights in each individual station. They do not carry voice traffic.
