Dukes County Public Safety
There are 6 or 7 towns in Dukes County. Each town operates its own police department and fire department. Ambulance Service is provided by Edgartown FD, Oaks Bluff FD, and TriTown Ambulance in West Chilmark. Marthas Vineyard Hospital is located in Oak Bluffs. The State Police and the US Coast Guard also maintain a public safety prescence in Dukes County. The airport also has a fire brigade and the MA State Forestry has 1 forest fire vehicle at the Marthas Vineyard State Forest.
Dukes County Comm Center dispatches most PDs on 158.85 and most FD/EMS on 33.76/154.325.
