Third Eye Blind lead singer Stephan Jenkins was invited this week by Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst to record tracks for Bizkit's upcoming album. "A lot of this is because of Fred Durst," said Jenkins, "I was really surprised because he was like, 'Come play on my album. Come down, we're doing a record.' I told him the price of this is that he's going to have to come guest on my record." Limp Bizkit's next album, "Chocolate Starfish and The Hot Dog Flavored Water," is due out in August. The band begins its free, Napster-sponsored tour with Cypress Hill July 11 in Detroit. Third Eye Blind remains on the road in support of its latest album, "Blue." They will appear Friday at the Roy Wilkins Auditorium in Minneapolis.
