30mm is a Tabletop/Video Gaming Podcast. We're looking to cover Battle Reports, some Hobbying tips n' tricks, custom scenarios for games we play, and even some Con info/coverage (depending on how broke we are). Currently, 30mm plays Privateer Press' Warmachine/Hordes. In addition to all the wonderful stuffs listed above, we're also planning on rolling out a story-driven campaign, as well as some other goodies. We also plan on picking up Malifaux (by Wyrd Games) in the near future. But- more importantly, we'd like to be a community that thrives on getting feedback from YOU! We plan on taking user suggestions for campaigns and lists, as well as for some other aspects of the show, as well. 30mm is hosted by Ragna, Onyx, and Ogre. Our music was created using Pro Scores. Ragna has been a rabid tabletop wargamer since 2008. Originally a huge fan of Warhammer and Warhammer 40k, Ragna switched over to Warmachine in 2010 and has been playing ever since (not looking back, either). Ragna has also been a huge fan of several pen-and-paper RPGs- such as Dungeons & Dragons 3.5, Shadowrun 3rd Edition, Anima, World of Darkness/Exalted- as well as the Magic: The Gathering card game (since '95, baby).
He also has no time for any of these activities...
Ragna's current video game choices include such great titles as Call of Duty: Ghosts and Little Big Planet on PS3 and World of Warcraft on PC.
When not doing something game related or ruining running 30mm, Ragna is a frequent Gym-attende, hiker, photographer/videographer, and Video FX designer. (He also designed the 30mm logo.) He is a huge fan of Apple and Canon products.
FUN FACTS:
Onyx has been winning , losing at Warmachine since 2010 and loving every minute of it. Started his nerding career with a game of D&D as a dumb half-demon that could not die (DM be damned), he has since burned out all his luck on dice. Like Ragna, he has dabbled in Warhammer 40K and fantasy. He quickly gave it up when he discovered his new love. Other games that Onyx plays/has played are Anima, Shadowrun 3rd ed., WOW, and several others.
When podcasting and gaming are not eating his time up, he likes to enjoy the great outdoors, fishing, and getting inked.
FUN FACTS:
Ogre has been, bashing face, and getting said face bashed in, at Warmachine/ Hordes since 2012, and like Onyx, loving every minute of it. Started the table top gaming seen with 40k,(original rules). Went up to about mark 4 then dropped it. Love Fantasy and Sci-Fi. Games I play: D&D, Risk, Risk 2210, Risk Lord of the Rigngs ed., Twighlight Imperium, Settlers, HeroesScape, Samurai Swords, WoW, ahh who am I kidding, way to many to name. Which brings me back to my main game of interest, Warmachine and Hordes, or Warmahordes for short.
Other interests including: hiking, fishing, rafting, Aquaponics, and permaculture.
