Competition - cuteryko.com I liked the colors they had on their page and the images show the personality of the shop, the content is similar to the website I'm interested in creating and the layout is beautiful but I think I would have more pictures displaying the different categories of items. Wendymalinovsky.com the content is hand-sewn jackets and hats, the images are bright and show detail but the colors are a bit plain it is one color for the entire home page, the layout is easy to use and simple to look at but it's too boring for me. crystalyarn.co.uk This shop sells hand-dyed yarn for crocheting and knitting, I like the display page where they have an image of the product they are selling with what it can be used for, the images are consistent which makes the shop look organized and neat, the color scheme is mostly white to show how the brightness of the yarn colors, and the layout is easy to use and understand I like how there are different categories for the different products they are selling.
Purpose -The focus of the site is on handmade items that are unique and fun, the site will focus on what you can do with your hobbies, there will be a variety of different crafts that some might participate in. A site should be made for this to get more people interested in buying items and more of an audience.
Desired Results- I would like the users the buy something off of the site or be interested in following the journey of the creators, the main goal is the become a viable business and make a profit off of it.
Target Audience-The target audience would be a person that likes funny novelty items and likes accessories. The range would be someone from Utah, ages around 18-25 some items would appeal to someone much younger, any gender, people who are interested in the craft.
