Who said only little kids get to play with toys?
The only differences between little kids and big kids (like me) are in what we can get away with and in our toys. The toys big kids play with are more expensive and we have to buy them ourselves--at least I do until I find someone who's rich, willing to support me (and my toys), and will let me do what I want when I want. Oh yeah, and available....

But you came here looking to find out what toys sleepy likes to play with, huh? One of my favorite toys to play with is (of course) my 'puter. Even after playing with them for more than 20 years, I still get a kick from it! I can always find a new program to play with, or some settings that beg to be fixed, or when all else fails...add more hardware  LOL  My puter sure isn't state-of-the-art, but it does what I want it to do and it's fast enough for me.

One of the best things I've added is a CD-RW drive so I can burn my own CDs (gotta make backups, you know). I still haven't decided which is better....my monitor or the digital camera. I really love my monitor--a 21" flat screen! When I hooked it up it reminded me of the first time I saw a big screen TV....totally awesome! Makes working on practically every other computer feel like I'm looking at one of the early portable tv's (you know, the little 4" things). But without the camera it would be pretty hard getting pictures for my site, like this one of my other toy....

This is my baby!
This is my baby....an '89 Iroc Z28 with a 5.7

I bought this the day before my 42nd birthday  :-)  No, it really wasn't part of that extended mid-life crisis people kept trying to convince me I was going through! My Mazda finally bit the dust and hey, what do I need with a grown-up car?

I know a lot of people don't like to drive unless they have someplace to go...but that's definitely not me! I love jumping in and taking off for a little (2 or 3 hour) drive. Maybe I do have a bit of a lead foot, but it sure is nice to think "go...faster...NOW" and have my baby do just that  '-)  So far *knock on wood* I've been lucky and haven't gotten any tickets! I'm hoping my luck will last!
