my favourite.....the music of cranes is so strange and mysterious, yet so beautiful too. ali's voice is so soft and childlike, so innocent. I've never heard a band quite like this.

this is a bit of an odd band. it's not everyday that you hear a band made up of three cello players and a producer formerly of nine ince nails, all wearing long victorian skirts and corsets, singing songs about howard hughes, and the pilgrams. but i love them still.

the baebes' music is so beautiful and thouching. they sing songs that were written in the 12th and 14th century. i can't wait until they discover hildegard von bingen.
