This page is my critique on the Record of Lodoss War OAV. Here you will find my opinion on Lodoss and how I rated it...

Record of Lodoss War has been my all-time favorite Anime and probably will be for the rest of my life. You can tell by the pics of Deedlit that I put in my pages. It's just that good! What kind of ROLW otaku would I be if I didn't include it in my site?! I'm not saying that ROLW is the best Anime out there...what I'm saying is, ITS ONE OF THE BEST! But there are also other Anime out there, such as Ninja Scroll, Slayers, Tenchi Muyo, Evangelion, and more...all of which deserve to be hyped up just like ROLW. I'm pretty sure you can find sites dedicated to these Anime. Trust me, I've looked myself. Hehe...

The Record of Lodoss War OAV's is just one of those movies you won't ever forget. Although by now its several years old, I think it still has one of the best stories and character designs in the world of Anime. The genre of the movie is Fantasy /Action Adventure. Watching it makes you feel like your really interacting with the environment and characters of Lodoss. The movie will keep you in your seat dwelving deeper and deeper into the story until its finished, unless you gotta take a bathroom break! Hehe! Anyway, if you're into watching Anime or like watching Fantasy /Action Adventure movies, I highly recommend the Record of Lodoss War OAV's. I guarantee you, you will find this Anime very interesting and entertaining. Here's a couple of comments on the Record of Lodoss War OAV's.

If you haven't already seen the Record of Lodoss War OAV, you're missing out on a good Anime. Although, Lodoss is only one story of several. Lodoss belongs to a world called Forceria, which has many interesting and fantastic stories. I only know of 2 that have been realeased in Japanimation form. They are the Record of Lodoss War OAV and the Legend of Crystania OAV. I believe the rest of the stories including Lodoss and Crystania have been realeased in Japan in the form of novels. These novels are only available in Japanese, or so I've heard. I haven't seen the novels in English yet but if I do, you can bet I'll buy them all to add to my Anime collection. Hehe. Anyway, the people who came up with the original story of Lodoss and all the rest are Kadokawa Bunko's famous authors, Ryo Mizuno and Hitoshi Yasuda. They are the brilliant minds behind the story of Lodoss and the world of Forceria. So if you run into one of their works, make sure you have a peek at it. I might just be as good!
