Fianna

Fianna is the Princess of Valis and daughter of King Fahn. She is the next in line to inherit the throne to Valis. Like her father, King Fahn, she is well respected and loved by the people of Valis.

Fianna meets Parn and others when she is on a mission to deliver a message to the Kingdom of Alan. King Fahn wanted to set up an alliance with Alan against the Marmo and sent his daughter to deliver the message. But Karla, knowing of King Fahn's plans, attacked Fianna and her escorts while they were on their way to Alan. Her escorts were no match for Karla's sorcery and she was soon in Karla's possession. Luckily, Parn and others were near by and saw what was going on. Headstrong and impulsive, Parn chased after Karla in hopes of rescuing of Fianna. With the help of Slayn's sorcery and Deedlit's elemental spirits, they were able to rescue Fianna.

Fianna, although has a small part in the OAV, she is a great ally for the six heroes. Her hospitality and kindness help the heroes on their quest. It is also believed that Etoh and Fianna have an attraction to each other and will someday marry.

Leylia

Leylia is the daughter of Neese, High Priestess of Marfa, and is also a priestess of Marfa herself. Seven years ago, she mysteriously disappeared and since then, no one knew what happend to her. Leylia was really abducted by the Grey Witch Karla, and was being used by Karla as her vessel.

Leylia, being controlled by Karla, had no conscientiousness. Having blamed himself for Leylia's disapperance, Ghim set out on a quest to find her and bring her back. He soon finds out that Leylia is being controlled by Karla. He confronted her and managed to free Leylia from her control. But by doing so, was injured badly and died soon after the battle.

Leylia, after being freed from Karla's control, joins the party on their quest. Her powers as a Priestess of Marfa are proven valuable to the party. As a momento, Leylia wears a wooden hair clip given to her by Ghim. Ghim carved it for her as a gift just before his fatal battle with Karla. Leylia has also now found comfort and companionship with Slayn, and soon they both fall in love.

Orson

Orson is a mercenary and is the partner of Shiris. He is a very skilled swordsman who wields a humungous sword. Although he has one down side, he is cursed with Hyuri, the spirit of rage and anger. He was first possessed by Hyuri when he saw his little sister killed by goblins. Since then, Hyuri has been part of him. Those who are cursed with Hyuri are known as berserkers. Whenever Orson gets mad, he goes into a berserker's rage and has no fear of death what so ever.

Orson and Shiris first meet Parn and the others when they have a little misunderstanding between each other. They end up getting into a little quarrel thinking each other were Marmo. It is soon resolved but Orson, having thought Shiris was in danger, went into his berserker rage and went after Parn. Shiris quickly calmed down Orson and promised to repay Parn if he spared Orson's life. Parn and his companions left Shiris and Orson behind, not knowing that they had just made valuable allies.

Orson however, unlike most berserkers, is able to control his berserker rage. He does not attack or injure his friends, but will surely go into a berserker rage when his friends, especially Shiris, are in danger. His skills as a fighter come in useful in the fight against evil but those who know about berserkers still fear him. It is said that where ever a berserker passes, only corpses remain.

Shiris

Shiris is a skillful fighter as well as a hotheaded mercenary. Whenever there is a job that includes fighting for money, she usually is the first person to take the job. In a way she is like Woodchuck, only she earns her money by working for it. Her partner is Orson and they go around looking for mercenary jobs.

Shiris may seem to have money on her mind most of the time but her intentions are those of a true hero. She never goes back on her word and usually helps out when ever she can. And as she promised Parn, she repayed her debt to him for sparing Orson's life. She and Orson soon become valubale allies to Parn and others as they join in the quest to save Lodoss.

Shiris also seems to have her eyes on Parn. Although she and Orson are very close, they are not lovers. She is attracted to Parn, but knows Parn and Deedlit are destined for each other.

Fahn

Fahn, the mighty King of Valis has ruled Valis for over thirty years. Following the laws of Falis and the path of light, He founded the Holy Kingdom of Valis. He also founded the Holy Knights of Valis whom are well known for their valor and bravery.

Fahn was one of the six heroes who vanquished the Demon King and stopped Lodoss from being conquered by evil. After saving Lodoss, Fahn and his band of heroes became legends. Fahn wields the Holy Sword of Falis, the rival sword to the Demon Sword Soul Crusher. King Fahn was killed by Emperor Beld in the Battle of Heroes. After his death, his daughter Princess Fianna, inherited the throne and became the Queen of Valis.

Fahn, although he died in the Battle of Heroes, still had some influence on the war for Lodoss. His sword, the Holy Sword of Falis, was given to Parn by Princess Fianna to help him in his quest. The sword was able to help Parn in the final battle against evil.

Kashue

Kashue is the Mercenary King of Flaim. Kashue is called the Mercenary King because he united the warring nations of the northern desserts of Lodoss using only his sword. He brought the desert kingdoms together, and created the Kingdom of Flaim.

Kashue is a very skilled swordsman and a very wise ruler. When he met Parn, he saw the potentional within him. Like Ghim, Kashue also took up the task of training Parn's undisciplined skills. Parn looks up to Kashue and wants to prove himself worthy of a knight to him. This is something that Deedlit notices about Parn and she ends up both becoming angry at Parn for not giving her the attention she wants from him and admiring his ambitions to become a knight.

Kashue and Fahn are good friends and have become close allies. The two mighty nations allied together in the war against Marmo. When King Fahn died, Princess Fianna became the Queen of Valis. Although she is the Queen of Valis, she is still to young to become the active ruler of Valis. King Kashue took the responsiblilty of becoming the active ruler of Valis until Fianna becomes old enough to take over.
