Frozen
Like a flower in the snow
I see your eyes have turned away
I see your heart beats for another now

I never wanted to hurt you
I never wanted you to cry about me
But somewhere in my sick an twisted soul
I couldn't make up my mind

Always when I am with you
I want to show you my love
Always when I am near you
I long to feel your touch
Some symbol of affection
And you give me none
Sensuality is the only language
I know how to speak to you in
For with my words I can never
Make you understand.

I want to meld with you
Become one with you
And heal all your wounds with my love
But you will not have me
Because I can not be like you

You tell me that you want her to go away
Yet I see the way you look at her
I see the way you want her
And I know that the truth
Does not fall from your lips

And so I go
To the only other one who will have me
To live my life the way I think I want to
At least the way I was told to want to
And I will be happy
If it kills me

I saw the way you looked at her tonight
The way you gave her all you attention
The way you avoided giving any to me

And I don't blame you
I guess I deserve it
Because in your eyes I have abandoned you
In your eyes I have said you are not good enough
In your eyes I am dead, not worth caring about

But all I really wanted was to avoid the pain
All I really said was that I would hurt you
And can not be there because of that
All I really wanted was to show you I love you
But none of that matters
When looking through your eyes.

I Can't Be That Girl

I can't be that girl
The one that you adore
The one with the "hot body"
The one with the black angel wings
The one with the beautiful hair
The one with the mascara flowing with her tears down her face
The one with those "cute leather pants"
The one with the "eyes"
I can't be that girl that you spent all night staring at
I can't be that girl that you turned around to drive past again
I can't be that girl up on stage taking off her clothes
I can't be that girl that gets you off just thinking about her
I can't be that girl that you post pictures of on your wall
I can't be that girl that you show off to all your friends.
I can't be that girl that you dream about
And you tell me about her, all of them
And then you tell me that you love me
Just the way I am
But I see the way you look at her
And I hear the way you talk about her
And I know the way you think about her
And I can't be that girl
And it tears me up inside.

Roses Upon the Grave

With bowed heads they mourn for those long since gone
Their arms are narrow and withered
The wind batters them as they remain silent
Together they weep
Clinging to one another for eternity
Old and gray they bow their heads ever further
As if they might curl into themselves
And hide away from the world like you or I
Like a memory forgotten too soon they remain
Forgotten as this life goes on
Lost in this world of hate like those for which they mourn
Dying slowly in the suns lights
Starved and neglected they suffer
Forever lost, forever forgotten, forever loving
Forever they will remain
The roses upon the grave.

I could feel your touch
Before I even laid my eyes upon you.
Shivering at your touch
Lost in these new sensations.

Trembling in your arms
Relishing in your warmth.

I could taste your kisses
As I slept a lover�s dream.
The sweetness of you filling me up
Clouding my senses.

Forever lost
Forever wandering my own soul.

I could hear you voice
Like a thousand whispers on the wind.
Echoing within the darkness of my mind
Ringing in my ears like a lover�s song.

Feeling your touch so gentle
Your voice so calm.

I could see your shining eyes
In the reflections of the moons light.
Drowning in their beauty
Falling forever and a day into your arms.

Forever I pledge my soul to you
Forever I will remain lost in your gaze.

I could smell you
The scent of heaven.
Stirring memories long forgotten
Rousing dreams long ago lost.

Touching yours to mine.

Snow

The winds of fate and time
Scatter us like leaves
Or new fallen snow
Some fade quickly
Others become corrupt
And yet again
There are a few
Who~~
Of their own accord
Dance upon the wind
Who dare to linger
And before they slowly die
Leave their spark
Upon these ever present winds
As markers for those who come
To dance upon the winds
And light the way home.
